Our primary goal as a PTA is to connect you, the parents, students, and community members, with Mt Pilchuck Elementary School with the goal of making it the very best school possible.


During the school year, meetings are held
the second Wednesday of the month
from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Mt Pilchuck library.

Members and non-members are always welcome.

Did you know that many PTA volunteers are not PTA members? Especially with our big events, we need lots of hands to make things run smoothly.

If you're going to volunteer at school, you will need to go through the LSSD background check process. Get an application here. Turn it in to the school office (you'll need to come in in person and show your photo ID) and it usually just takes a day or two to get approved.

We use Signup Genius to track volunteers for many events. You can view our available signups here


PTA is the world's largest child advocacy organization.

Simply put, your membership empowers our community to advocate for your child.

Membership does not obligate you to volunteer or attend meetings.

Our operating expenses for 2019-20 are between $27,000 and $28,000, with over 95% of that going directly to fund art, science, drama, music, STP, and all manner of other fun at Mt Pilchuck. In order to continue our current level of support for Mt Pilchuck, we need to continue our fundraising efforts.
