We connect you

Our primary goal as a PTA is to connect you -- the parents, students, and staff of Mt Pilchuck Elementary School. We all have something to contribute and together we make possible a positive community at our school.

Did you know that you do not need to be a PTA member to be a volunteer? If you'd like to be notified about volunteer opportunities, please send us your email Joining this list doesn't commit you to anything, you'll just get periodic emails letting you know what the PTA is up to and where we are in need of volunteers.

We use Signup Genius to track volunteers.
Active signups, when available, will be posted here.

PTA is the world's largest child advocacy organization.

Simply put, your membership empowers our community to advocate for your child.

Membership does not obligate you to volunteer or attend meetings.

Membership starts at just $10 a year. Purchase your 2021-22 membership online or by mail using this form.

2019-20 Yearbook Information

Please see below for information, or send email to yearbook@MtPilchuckPTA.org if you have additional questions.

Frequently asked questions about yearbook

How do I order a yearbook? The pre-order period for the 2019-20 yearbook was the first two weeks of June.
When will I get my yearbook? Yearbooks were shipped on August 24th. If you ordered online for home delivery and your yearbook has not arrived, please refer to your receipt from the publisher.

If you ordered for pickup, the books have arrived. You may pick them up from the school office.
Is it too late to get a 2019-20 yearbook? My kid really wants one. We had a limited number of extra copies printed, and will be making these copies available to purchase at a cost of $15 each.
To pre-pay for one or more copies, please visit our store to purchase. We will email you when your book is ready to be picked up at school.

If you are not able to pay online, let us know and we'll see what can be worked out about connecting in person for a cash sale.
What's in the yearbook? We had to get a little creative because of lack of at-school events, but we're very proud of the result!
    * At 52 pages, this year's book is somewhat shorter than the 68 pages that we typically publish.
    * We had student and staff portraits, and pictures from our fall and mid-year events.
    * 3. We included some really fun pages of pictures of what "school" looked like after the shutdown!
    * 4. We got some great shots the the last day caravan.

We think providing a variety of options is the best way to do that.

Fall Catalog Fundraiser

Frequently asked questions about the fall catalog sale

View the flyer or kickoff video
What are the dates of the fall fundraiser? The fundraiser officially ends at midnight on October 31st, though your student's store may remain available for a period of time beyond that.
How does it work? Each student has their own online store. Simply send the link to this store to friends and family via email, social media, or text. All purchases made through the store are credited to your child and count toward prize eligibility, and profits from the sale come to Mt Pilchuck PTA.
How do I register my student? Start at www.supportourfundraisers.com. Enter our Organization ID, which is MTPL128. You will be walked through a short process of setting up your student's store, and then provided with a link and some tools to share the link with friends and family.
What are the prizes? Students start earning prizes with their first sale. The more items they sell, the more prizes they earn. Find the full schedule of prizes here.
When will orders be delivered? Orders will be delivered directly to the purchaser's home and should arrive mid- to late-November.
What if I don't want to sell stuff to my friends and family? First of all, please know that we do not expect every family to participate in every fundraiser. We try to have a variety of ways to participate in raising funds for the school. If this one's not for you, we understand! Please feel entirely free to opt out completely!
I would still like to support PTA. Can't I do that without selling stuff? Yes! From your student's online store, choose the $20 cash donation item. Sales of this item are 100% profit, meaning that every penny you donate goes directly to fund programs that benefit Mt Pilchuck. These sales even count toward earning prizes.
How will people get their orders? Because of the social distancing measures in place due to Covid-19, this year's fundraiser will consist entirely of orders shipped directly to the purchaser. Shipping costs will be paid by the purchaser and can be calculated prior to purchase from the shopping cart.
How will my student get their prizes? Prizes will be shipped directly to your student.
Why do a fundraiser when school is not physically in session? PTA is still supporting Mt Pilchuck! We may not be able to hold family events, but we can help with other kids of extras like paying for access to virtual fundraisers, buying art or science supplies to send home with students, and supporting teachers in their distance and/or hybrid teaching model.

Every year, PTA also makes purchases that benefit the school for the long term -- items like science kits, a sound system, playground equipment, and water bottle fillers -- and we are looking forward to when students will be physically together again.
Why do a fundraiser when so many people are hurting financially? We thought long and hard about that. We are anticipating lower than usual income from this fundraiser. But we do still have expenses, and since fundraising is optional, we decided to go ahead and give people the opportunity.

Because we know many of our families are hurting, this year we are also donating a percentage of the proceeds of this sale to The Hungry Hearts Foundation a Lake Stevens non-profit that provides take-home meals for students facing food insecurity due to financial need.

In addition, for every thousand items sold, 100 meals will be donated to Northwest Harvest in Mt Pilchuck's name.
I have another question or problem about the fundraiser. Who can I ask? Your best bet is to direct your questions to Northwest Fundraising directly. You can call them at 800-779-1706 or by email at customer.service@nwfundraising.com.

Or we're available as well at catalog-sale@mtpilchuckpta.org.
